Too much salt on all food!!! The blackened mahi sandwich was extremely dry and tasted like frozen fish from the grocery store. Expensive drinks. We wish we went somewhere else for seafood. Sad! We used to love this place!

When you are placing your order, at Shrimpey on the beach restaurant make sure your food comes with the items that is included and not charged up charge Also, when the waitress brings you water, it should be in a large glass with ice j. Not a baby glass no ice, whether you are sitting on the inside or outside? We should not have to ask for water with ice in a large cup. Kelly, our waitress, came to take our order which was tacos that come with chips any side order is a extra fee. Cool When the food was delivered to the table, that was no chips, the other 2 people in our party also ordered tacos that should also come with chips Kelly was asked, where are the chips that come with the order she said oh I forgot. acted like we was bothering her. She returned with on basket of chips we asked where are the other chip they come with the taco order Kelly, the unfriendly waitress stated if you get a side order then that illuminates the chips(what). She proceeded to say when you order a side now becomes a up charge and eliminates the chips We ask for the manager, so two managers comes over later. We explain the situation of how we placed an order, but did not get. what comes automatically with the order The managers apologized and stated Kelly was in error in quoting an up charge and they were so sorry if we wanted an extra dessert, a donut full of sugar for our inconvenient. Of course , the answer was no. We wanted them to be aware when people placed a food order it should, what is included and not at the waitress discretion to decide what's gonna be a charge and what should be eliminated If you choose to go to a Shrimpys on the beach, make sure you get what you expected to pay for. Hopefully you won't get waitress Kelly who decides what's an up charge and what's gonna be eliminated from your order

We absolutely love this place. The food is always amazing. We had a wonderful meal tonight and our server, Kelley was awesome. Kelley went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and she was super friendly. My husband and I split the Captains Platter and had the Nola Shrimp app. It was the best meal of our whole trip. Highly recommend!

We chose this restaurant because we had never been there before and wanted a waterside view. We parked in the on-site, complimentary parking lot. When we arrived for lunch, there was one table inside and a couple tables outside. We wanted to sit outside so we could take advantage of the view of the water. Our server greeted us promptly and brought drinks. We told him we wanted something good to eat; he said, you 've come to the right place! The menu was incredibly limited. No fish and chips. The server explained that the kitchen was limited in what they could prepare due to staffing issues. He also stated the server working on the inside of the restaurant was there to assist him. We never saw the guy. Our food arrived. I ordered a burger and tortilla chips with rémoulade. My husband ordered something with fries. I can 't even remember what he ordered, it was so unremarkable. I asked for mustard and mayonnaise for my hamburger. By this time, a couple of other tables had been seated outside near us. Our server kept making them drinks, seating new people, but not taking care of the tables he already had. The server never returned with the condiments I asked for. After waiting for several minutes, I ventured inside the restaurant and found someone to ask for the condiments. Our server never returned to refill our waters or offer us a second round of drinks. I kept thinking, where 's this guy he said is here to help him? My hamburger was cold by the time I got the stuff to put on it, so I only ate half of it. It was tough and flavorless. My husband said his food was lackluster as well. We had to get up and go to the bar to get our check and cash out. I was just ready to get out of there. Not sure what all hype is about this place, but I would not return to this restaurant and would not recommend it.

One of the best places for brunch. The food was so good ! The seafood quesadilla was on point! I could eat that everyday !
