Birrieria Y Taqueria Yahualica

I went for birria. It had no flavor, sauce, no flavor, and 1/4 cup of wet rice 1/4 cup of beans, and also lacked flavor. To make things worse, I was charged almost $19 for it. Not recommended!

Lovely little hole in the wall family run restaurant. The outdated decor adds the charm to this place. They provided complimentary fresh chips while I waited for my order Carne asana and the meat is cooked medium rare to my liking. The meal came with tortillas which was freshly made, soft and fluffy. Rice and bean had a good mix of flavors. Salsa and sauce home made, fresh, spicy and packed full of flavor. Horchata creamy, freshly made and delicious. Not too sweet or lacking. The service here is above and beyond super friendly staff checked in if I wanted anything else. Highly recommend if you haven’t been here. If you’re cautious about the other reviews just know they seem to be non descriptive, low ranking, inaccurate reflection of this place so decided to come here on a whim and wasn’t disappointed.

Food is extremely good, the place is kind of small and out of date, the paint can be restored as well as the seats and tables. The customer service is good, only 4 or 5 people total serving, preparing food, and charging so the times are just a tad longer than most places. Overall, these smaller details do not outweigh the taste and overall greatness of the food.
