Now I expect that eating is expensive when they are in the yosemite valley, but they still have to supply food that is a reasonable value for what they spend. the menu is a bit above the place (and this can be because they are closed for renovation). our table of four received four different dessert menus. there were no cohesive courts that they could logically choose first and second courses. most main courses did not hear very interesting. I finally decided to have a pork that was edible, but only at the ranch of hard and hard to eat. the rest of the plate was unorderly and not too delicious. we also tried the arancini (not bad,) a spinach salad (picked ok,) garnel and child pasta. we enjoyed the cream brulee and thought the awhanhee berry cake was solid. overall we had a nice evening, but I didn't want to eat there anymore, especially because it wasn't great. I would like to come back and have a spectacular meal to go with the atmosphere and the service.
The best in elegance and old world charm, that keeps them want more. the care staff makes the experience accessible to all, in harmony with the service and standards set after years excellent service. the restaurant closes for renovation, encouraged for the patrons to visit this appreciated facility for many years. please keep this original and standard high as an estimated place to experience old world charm and high standards of culinary experience. Park’s services maintains consistent service standards and focuses on long-term personal goals. get a back of the house staff and keep them! this place should be a high standard and sought place for working! Many thanks for a wonderful weekend and look forward to visiting there for many more years.
The quality of service and food for Sunday brunch was impeccable. small nitpick on the brunch, for $56 pp it felt a little expensive offered for the traditional choices. but the experience of eating in this wonderful dining room listening to the pianist was a mere list of witness! it is a must when they visit the yosemite valley.
That is the most beautiful eating of a mile in yosemite. unfortunately mirror price and worth it. the nativity was a tonne eating and was amazing. the pork chop had wonderful tastes/ sauces, but was a bit over cooked and I was disappointed about the size. my friend ordered skallops, and they were the best scallops that either had of us ever – but the “street” consisted of three small scallops, which were laid on a huge teller alone. it was not enough food to be a meal. I'm the future, I think we eat somewhere else and then come to the cream for dessert/apps/drinks. the atmosphere is undefeated and it is a special place, but I wish it was a liiiiittle something better worth for the money.
While the place is gorgeous and special, the food is highly overpriced for what you get. After our lunch we ordered dessert which was an apple cranberry crisp. When we received it , it was a peach crisp. We said to our waiter that we got the wrong crisp he said “ ****!” And walked away. He came back and said “We just got a new Food and Beverage director. We’re out of everything and they keep changing things up on us. Do you want me to take the crisp back or do you want to enjoy your canned peach crisp?” Considering we had already took some forkfuls, we kept it. But we felt a bit let down by the food quality and service.” It doesn’t make me want to recommend this place to friends.
