The doors were locked during operating hours. The website indicated that the business was open, and we drove 20 miles to visit, only to find it closed at 1:30 PM on a Sunday. We have no intentions of returning.

I drove there to get food for the first time, but I found the restaurant closed. Why list operating hours if you’re not going to stick to them? I wouldn’t have left this review, but I saw another review where someone had the same experience. I thought it might have been a one-time issue, but it seems they regularly fail to adhere to their published hours. I'm really disappointed that I wasted my lunch break trying to visit this place.

As a first-time customer, I checked both your website and Google to confirm that you were open, and both indicated that you were. I drove all the way there, only to find a closed sign with a chain and padlock on the door. I was extremely disappointed. I understand that things can happen, but it would be helpful to update your website and Google listing to prevent customers from making unnecessary trips.

The turkey wings were tender and practically fell off the bone, and the cabbage was absolutely delicious. However, we weren't too fond of the fried catfish nuggets basket. On a positive note, the owner was very friendly and accommodating.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and it felt just like being at a loved one's home. I had the oxtails, while my wife enjoyed the pork chops. They also offer a unique twist on traditional cornbread, which was a nice surprise. Overall, you really can't go wrong here, and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon!
