Pantano's Gourmet - Uniondale

The food was tasty, but I found the prices on the menu to be misleading. A sandwich is listed at around $12, but I ended up paying $17 for each. I ordered two sandwiches and fries, and my total came to $50. Additionally, they close at 2:30, even though Google states they close at 3. They rush everyone out to ensure they are finished by 2:30.

I visited this restaurant twice in one day while staying at the Long Island Marriott for a wedding. So many great options! The breakfast sandwiches—the Eye Opener and the popular Jose—were fantastic. We also took some sandwiches to go for lunch, and they were equally delicious and fresh (I particularly enjoyed the Asian pack). The prices are reasonable and comparable to other restaurants. They also offer some tempting pre-made sandwiches and salads for those in a hurry. I would definitely recommend this place and will return when I'm in the area. Just a heads up, though: seating for dining is somewhat limited.

The lemonade was absolutely amazing! I'm definitely going back for more. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the food was well-presented with convenient packaging. The staff was also very helpful. The fries were fresh and delicious. I ordered the New York Philly cheese steak, and it looked fantastic, which made me excited to try it. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped. It was lacking in seasoning and had way too many onions. It tasted like something you'd whip up at home when trying to be healthy, without adding any salt or seasonings.

What can I say? The food is fantastic! That's all you need to know. Oh yes(to the owner) 3 stars gets a $20 gift certificate and 5 stars gets a pat on the back?? It's been 2 months since this review was published and yet they never came back to me with at least one thanks. Pantano is, you lose a star for bad communication. Shame on you!!!
