Captain D's - Union City

I decided to come inside the restaurant because the drive-thru line was too long. However, I still had to wait once inside because two employees, one with black braids at the front counter and one with red braids in the kitchen, were engaged in a lengthy conversation about how much they dislike the manager and how they plan to quit soon. I ordered a spicy big fish sandwich with hushpuppies. When I received my order, I found that the sandwich had an excessive amount of tartar sauce and no lettuce. When I inquired about the lettuce, the employee with red braids told me it did not come with lettuce. I mentioned that there was too much tartar sauce on my sandwich, and she took it back to the kitchen. However, she returned with the same sandwich a few minutes later. I asked if I could have a plain one instead, but was told I would have to wait for a new fish sandwich or take a regular one. I will not be returning to this restaurant again. It is evident that the employees dislike their jobs and management even more, and unfortunately, the customers are the ones who suffer as a result.

I have never been disappointed at any Captain D's restaurant. The food is consistently delicious at every location, including this one. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant was a disappointment. I paid almost $20 for my meal and had to wait 30 minutes, making me late to pick up my child. I do not recommend going here. Get it together, y'all.

Late night dash for a quick bit Drive thru was a little long but it moved quickly than expected. We ordered the Big Fish sandwich combo and it held true to the name ?. Our fries were hot out of the grease crispy unfortunately the fish wasn 't an I 'm a person who loves hot out the grease fish. The shift manager ran the drive very polite even asked did we need any extra condiments for our meals.
