El Loro Mexican

Food and service was excellent! Very attentive staff!

So disappointed been going here for over 20 years recently had the worst experience. something floating in my drink.. A BUG IN MY FOOD.. manager was on lunch, so unable to address w her.. things were corrected, but the server (Manuel) literally REFUSED to discuss reducing the bill when I got to the register bc I didn 't bring up my concerns when the bill was dropped off.. bc I was still eating. even if there was not going to be a reduction in the bill, he couldn 't be bothered to have a conversation even looked me in my face from 20 feet away to shake his head no at me when asked to come to the register. disgusted at the way he conducted himself.

Having lived all over the U.S. including in the Phoenix, AZ area I can honestly say El Loro in Chesapeake is one of the top 3 Mexican restaurants I've had the opportunity to enjoy! Their fresh table side guacamole is phenomenal, their margaritas are fantastic and their Carnitas is wonderful. Service was fast and friendly and the environment is very pleasant.

Lunch was very nice. Been there well over 10 times.

We just ate for the first time in this restaurant and the food and service were top! The atmosphere is also very nice. We definitely put it on the list of our regular visited restaurants!
