My entire family just visited the St. Paul Buca di Beppo (8 people). The food was better than could remember and the atmosphere was great! I would highly recommend you spend a night with family and friends. You will not be disappointed! Kid-friendliness: I brought my 9 year old daughter and she is asking when we can return.

It's been a while since I've been to Buca but I was disappointed at the whole experience. We had a reservation for 2 and we were seated right away, but at a table for 8, which was really odd. I also forgot how expensive it is for just 2 people. We ordered me small entree (Chicken Parmesan) and one small pasta (Penne alla Vodka) and it gave us 5 pretty good-sized portions, but for those not wanting that much food, there's no other option. When we ordered, our server suggested that we order some garlic bread or other appetizer and we declined, but he never offered nor brought complimentary bread that they used to provide. After our meal came, I asked the waiter if they don't serve bread anymore and he said, “Sure, I can get you some house bread,” but he never would've brought it if I hadn't seen it at another table and asked for it. After we were finished eating we looked at the dessert menu and about fell off our chairs when we saw that their tiramisu was $18! We've had it before and it is good (served in a cereal-sized bowl), but for that price I'm hoping it's a bigger serving than last time we had it. All things considered, it will probably take a really good promotion to get us to try Buca again.

We made this reservation for our kids and friends to enjoy something fun before prom. They had gift cards and coupons. They were told they could not use both at the same time. Gift cards are like paying with a credit card. The coupon should be allowed. They were also told they couldn't get change on their gift cards. I didn't know you had to use up a gift card in a single visit. We won't be visiting again anytime soon.
