Contribuiți la feedbackWe were thrilled because it is local and we are going to eat in the regular way. we asked what the burger was made, and waitress was rude and ignorant that we got that and honestly, it was not good, but decided to try anyway. the tempeh was literally straight out of his package and on the tortilla, the burger was pasty af. only a very terrible experience. I called the owner to try to provide help on some menu items and tell about my experience, and he “was not available” and never returned my call.
We went in a Monday morning, it was just us and two other tables, service was good, but the cook seemed almost upset about our order, it was a whole thing back in the kitchen and then he was very hap dangerous threw a hummus wrap together. I mean, it was good, but a little effort to close it would have been nice. Oh, good.
I usually don't like to say bad things about local restaurants - but this place is illegal grungy. service is slow, owner / manager is fighting for feedback, and I honestly do not trust that the vegan offers are not overcontaminated.
I was very excited to see a restaurant in the city with a vegan menu that had more than just an impossible burger on it, so I had to check it asap. we went on a Saturday to an early lunch and it was busy as they also serve the breakfast and the service was unfortunately very slow. I'm usually very patient in such situations because I know how crazy this can be working in a restaurant, but when our server finally came by to get our drinks orders, she wasn't very friendly and apologised not to wait for that or anything. the service continued what was disappointing, but maybe it was just a bad morning? Anyway, the vegan menu is separated from the regular menu and they need to ask for it, but it is a complete page menu with some options that is beautiful. they said that they do not begin to offer pizza or dinner items until after 2 o'clock. not sure if it's a weekend or a day. So I have a falafel package with fries and it was pretty good! especially the falafel itself. average portion size for the price, but I expected more of the gurken salsa in the package and the fries could have been a little crispy. I will try again to see if the service is better and taste their spaghetti and meatballs.
I typically avoid restaurants with less than a 4.5-star average rating, but I decided to make an exception for this place due to its proximity to my home and its vegan menu. When I arrived for lunch, there were three employees and a small party dining. The service was fast and efficient. The food was decent, earning a 3.5-star rating, but I bumped it up to 4 stars because they offered organic, non-HFCS ketchup at each table and allowed customers to pay with their phone via a QR code. I ordered the tempeh dish, which was tasty with slightly overcooked bread that was a bit soggy. This restaurant is the only one in the area with a current vegan menu, and I hope they continue to succeed. Perhaps they could improve by using more local ingredients and adding some color or flair to their dishes. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked, though they only had one functioning toilet during my visit. The restaurant had a cool interior, reminiscent of a Quentin Tarantino film set. I plan to return to try more items on their menu.
