Comix Roadhouse - UNCASVILLE

The food at this restaurant is amazing. The server was incredibly helpful and attentive. We had a member of our party who needed Gluten Free options, and the server double checked everything to ensure their safety. The food was high quality, particularly the perfectly cooked steaks that were so tender they could be cut with a butter knife. The portion sizes were just right and we were able to enjoy our meal without any noise disturbances, although it was mentioned that the close tables could make it loud during busy times.

The food was decent, but three of us decided to order the grilled chicken and found it to be dry. What truly disappointed us was the additional charge for choosing grilled chicken instead of fried, especially since the waitress did not inform us about it and it was not listed on the menu. The manager was not very friendly either, as he only removed the charge from one of our checks despite three of us ordering the grilled chicken. We will not be returning to this restaurant in the near future.

I made a reservation for an early dinner before a show at the Sun Arena next door. The atmosphere was friendly when we first arrived, but the service was slow and our server did not pay attention to our table once our order was taken. The food was just okay. I probably won't be returning in the future.

I have gone here multiple times and have never been disappointed although this time was different my burnt ends were really dry and the fries were hard it was like there was no potato. The chicken wings were supposed to be garlic parm but were plain and also overcooked We ended up just leaving.

The smoked wings were awful! Very fatty, rubbery skin and the texture of the meat was weird. Carrots were almost still raw. Rice was crunchy. Front desk seemed unorganized and our waitress was not very attentive. The server at the show forgot to bring our waters and when we asked she pretended she knew, but only came with 2 instead of 3 as ordered. Our gingerbread martinis weren't made as described on the menu.
