Taj Mahal - Umea

It is the best lunch place on the Umeå University campus. Good quality for a buffet.

Just OK place for sitting and eat Indian food. I like the chicken roast, mixed vegetables, sallad and gulgulay (the sweet). But i think the price was a bit high. It cost 89 SEK for students (regular price is 95 SEK) and it does not come with soda/drink. AND Order taker was very cold behaved person.

Very nice restaurant, although eating is not really Indian, but more in direction bangladesch eat.

Very sticky floor, staff does not seem to care clean it during luch time. Also last time there were so many people, so they were siting in narrow corridors among tables, thus blocking other customers it would be nice to have some comfort when staying for lunch. No more cranberry juice. In summary quality went down, prices went up. The food itself is still quite ok.

The booklet Restaurantchancen offers 2 for 1 meaning obviously you pay for one but you get two portions. However they are cheating on this. The price for the chicken Masala is 95 SEK IN the restaurant, and the price for 2 for 1 is 149 .. SEK (take away even . Should be called 1.5 for 1 instead. Having mentioned this the lady at the cashier got quite unfriendly and aggressive. In addition, the entrance leaves quite a dirty impression and after the food I had to drink 1 later of water. Probably full of glutamate. NEVER AGAIN !
