El Rodeo - Umatilla

I couldn't obtain a current health department certificate from the restaurant. The tacos were definitely not worth the $2 each. They consisted of two cold, pre-made corn tortillas about 4 inches in diameter that were bland. Just some onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and a bit of meat, all served on a paper plate and wrapped in foil—not very classy! It was 7:30 PM on a Saturday night, and the place was empty. It's located right next to a busy hotel, so you can draw your own conclusions. The restaurant looked tidy enough, but since we didn't eat there, I wouldn't recommend it under any circumstances.

We got some work to do.. But I still love this place its like my second home again. So come on out and shoot some pool or just have a good drink after a long day at work or for you travelers a long day on the road. Almost forgot the food is some of the best around!!

To the locals...You gotta give this place a try. They are a new restaurant (at the time of this review The food and service are excellent! I drive a big truck and have eaten Mexican food in every state across the nation (lower 48 and at least 5 Canadian provinces. I would rank this restaurant in top 5. If you don't support them and they are out of business next time I come through I'm gonna drive down your streets at 2:00 a.m. with unmuffled Jake brake while blowing the air horn. : Please support them!

Not impressed! The food lacked flavor, and the steak was nothing like what was shown in the pictures. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The waitress was friendly, but I wasn't happy when they brought out a really hot plate for my young grandson. He ended up getting burned because it could have been served on a cooler plate. The food was good, but I think restaurants should be more careful about serving hot plates to children under nine. They really should switch the plates to something safer first.
