Eagles Head - Ulverston

Just got back from a week staying in Satterthwaite and went to the pub most nights for a drink. Our dog Pero embarrassed himself but Bob the pub dog had a lot of fun with him. It was lovely to have a pub 2 minutes walk away and especially one that felt cozy. One note... They could make a fortune if they got some more quality scotch behind the bar, a lagavulin 16, Oban 14 or a Bowmore 15... Service: 5

I had a steak pie which was absolutely delicious. There was a warm and friendly atmosphere in the pub, with some impromptu karaoke going on! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great little spot close to Grizedale! Good local beers and although we didn’t eat, the tables around us food looked epic and lots of positive feedback was heard. Will be back next time I’m there Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
