Charlu - Ukkel

I was very impressed by the appearance of this restaurant. Since we live in the neighborhood, we decided to give it a try. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered Gambas with pasta and my wife had the Magré de canard with vegetables. Unfortunately, both dishes had a lot of sand in them, indicating that the seafood and vegetables were not properly washed. This made the meal very unpleasant to eat. We decided to skip dessert and left shortly after. The bill came to 59€ for two main courses, a large bottle of water, and a small bottle of water. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant.

You are greeted and served by the brasserie owner in a warm and personalized manner. Though the menu may be limited, each dish is exceptional and delicious. Be sure to take the owner's wine recommendations, as they have an impressive selection of high-quality wines. A definite 5-star dining experience!

After reading several positive reviews, we decided to give this local restaurant a try. However, we were let down by our experience. The restaurant has a welcoming traditional brasserie atmosphere and the staff were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, our disappointment started when our first choice starter was not available, despite being the only customers there at the time. Our second choice starter was very disappointing, only receiving a 1 out of 10 rating from us. Our main courses were acceptable, but we opted to skip dessert. The total bill for two people, which included two glasses of wine, a large bottle of water, a shared starter, and two meat main courses, came to Euro 85.

This is truly a quaint sweet cozy restaurant in Brussels with lots on the menu...while Brussels does not make a great hamburger this place does on brioche roll piled high with tomato and onion and cheese don't forget those French fries...the chicken breast in a wonderful sauce with veggies and my friend had two kinds of sausage one blood sausage typical of France...all was great..don't miss this sweet place and prices are good...

We had a great time at this cosy restaurant, not too many tables, lovely decor. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. Very good kids menu as well. Food was excellent, you can tell the chef enjoys his job. We will return !
