Left Coast Seafood Marketplace - Ukiah

The food was a bit more basic than I was expecting and the portions were a bit small. It's more of a homemade approach with simple preparation and presentation which doesn't match the location or price so much.

Enjoyed the different dishes we ordered and the servers knew their jobs well. Not sure why they have a market size refrigerated cabinet at the end of the bar. I think that space could be better utilized. Maybe extend the bar area. More seating maybe, but it takes up space now, for no purpose. It is also very loud. The waitress kept asking us to repeat our order because of the loud atmosphere inside. Better to sit outside so you can have a conversation.

In the reservation I noted it was my parents anniversary dinner. Wine selection was good. Service and food was average.

I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Lobster mac-n-cheese is delicious ?. Scallop risotto is heavenly ?. Dessert ? was amazing. Very busy for Saturday night but they made room for us at 7 pm the prime hour. Can't say a single bad word.

Left Coast is one of the top places to eat in downtown ukiah. Loved their large menu ! They had everything from oysters to crab and lobster ! I ordered the lobster and tasted the short ribs ! Their garlic fries with grab meat is a must ! I can see why these three dishes are their most popular ! Their drink menu was pretty good as well ! I had the El Hefe. The service overall was good and the place was a little tiny ,our seats were pretty squished together . But overall I would still recommend to others :
