Contribuiți la feedbackIn the courtyard of entrance to the palace of the city of Udaipur, you will find this coffee that serves combined dishes and drinks all at prices for pegs. Despite the prices it is worth sitting down to take a soda to mitigate the heats and above all to see the passage of people coming out and entering the City Palace. As a curious thing, in the morning they don't serve beer and from 16:30 to 17:30 all the drink is half priced minus the bottle of wine. Pizzas are somewhat courier and their prices range from 600 rupees to about 9 euros) to 12, as you will see the Prices not cheap for India.
Palki Khana is a restaurant situated near the main entrance of City Palace. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff is polite and knowledgeable, providing top-notch service to their customers. It is common to see wealthy foreign visitors enjoying themselves here. The pasta is a popular choice on the menu, as well as their selection of beers and wines. As an Indian familiar with the usual prices of these beverages, I was initially shocked by the higher prices at Palki Khana. However, the stunning view of City Palace and the stylish ambiance of the cafe helped ease my concerns.
1) The chicken biryani was excellent, comparable to the best we have had at five-star hotels. It was flavorful, mildly spicy, and the chicken was juicy. 2) The pizzas and sandwiches were also of high quality. 3) The service was extremely quick and courteous. Although the prices may seem a bit high, the quality of the food and service justifies it. Keep up the great work.
We ordered the Rocco pasta and the Palki Khana favorite. The pasta was delicious and the Palki Khana favorite was also quite enjoyable. Although the prices are on the higher side, the ambiance of the place and the quality of the food make it worth it. The atmosphere gives off a nice, chill vibe.
With a typical desi name and an attractive location, Palki Khana is the restaurant located in proximity to the main entrance of City palace. Even though located in the palace itself, it had modern bistro cafe feels with options for both indoor and outdoor seating. Having experienced food with a little over the top spices during our stay we preferred ordering both red and white sauce pasta with kesar badam milk, cafe frappe and chocolate fantasy as drinks. The highpoint was the presentation of the order and the taste. The white sauce pasta was sufficiently cheesy and the red sauce pasta was tangy enough with garlic breads being crisp and perfectly toasted. The drinks were droolworthy with an amazing blend of coffee with chocolate. Though the rates of cafe are on the expensive side but this place is a must visit to refresh your taste with some amazing food and drinks after a tiring tour of the palace.
