Le Guignol Uccle

Very interesting place. Feels and looks like very old tavern with unique food experience of classic French cuisine and Thai food. We’ve been pleasantly surprised to get very good looking and tasty meals. Both appetizers: st jacques and scampi a l'americaine were just great as well as the maine course dishes: short ribs and pad thai. If you don’t know what you what for lunch or dinner it’s definitely a good idea to visit this place!

I had the best vol au vent in my life. In a residential area, I found this restaurant and pub that serves Belgian and Thai food. I guess the mix comes from the couple that runs the restaurant. I had fondue (cheese croquette), vol au vent and a trio of sorbets. Portions were perfect and food was tasty. The vol au vent, typical Belgian dish, was truly spectacular. The meat of the chicken was tender and you could taste it was high quality. The dish comes with Belgian fries which were also good. They have a nice terrace and I’m sure in summer this is quite a nice spot to sit at the sun. You will spend around 40/50 euros for a meal with a starter, main dish, one glass of wine and dessert. Recommended.
