Leila - Tysons

We should have looked at the reviews before we attempted to eat here. It’s 2:30 on a Thursday, and the restaurant was empty except for one table and some ppl sitting at the bar (which I could out later were managers). We waited for 10 minutes for someone to greet us and no one! Food runners kept walking by, not caring whatsoever. Finally, we asked one where our server was. They said, “you need a server” um, yes, we do! They went to get the bartender, who had just been sitting at the bar chatting the whole time! We decided to get up and leave the bartender didn’t even attempt to stop us instead was laughing! I asked to speak the the manager and Asian gentleman who was sitting at the bar and told him what happened and he just said sorry and we left! Didn’t even get to taste the food but would Never come back!!!

I'm glad you asked how my experience in Leila in Tysons Corner on 2. July 2022 was when my wife was happy to eat there again after I had a great lunch a few months ago. When we showed up for our reservation three days ago, we found Leila completely closed with a heavy combination lock fixed to the handles of the front doors (of which I have a photo). Needless to say we were surprised, disappointed and miffed. Also FYI, Leila asked my credit card information to keep my reservation made by OpenTable. Fortunately, I haven't seen a fee, but will continue to monitor my AmEx account. Closed with Leila, we instead dined in the nearby season 52, where we were unable to use OpenTable to make a reservation, as your app showed me to eat at that time in Leila. Destroy experience across the area with Leila and the fact that there was no indication of the OpenTable app that it was anything but open and accepting reservations. RIP Leila.

The majority of vegetarian ducks (Jackfruit kathal) and pages (dal makhani and dal tadka) were not available.

Great energy on a Saturday night! Food was super tasteful and music was pumping! Loved the DJ mix this night. For allergy-conscious people, this is a little risky place because their understanding of gluten frits was missing a little, but we were able to make some informed decisions even then. Anyway, come back here.
