He welcomed us with a delicious white wine, cheese, and fresh cucumbers and celery from his garden. We quickly realized that we shared a mutual appreciation for good food, and he couldn't have been more attentive. His wife Jean was the behind-the-scenes powerhouse in the kitchen until she joined us for dinner. We were the only patrons that evening and were treated to a delightful salad with a variety of 10 different lettuces and fresh organic vegetables, which my wife particularly enjoyed. The fish dishes we ordered were exquisite, but the sides stole the show in each course. Dessert and coffee were also excellent, and we had a lovely time chatting with Paul and Jean, who take great pride in their work. This is more than just a meal - it's a slow, thoughtful, and proudly presented dining experience.
My wife and I, both vegetarian/vegan, were pleasantly surprised by our experience at this restaurant. The wine pairings were exceptional and the service was attentive and considerate. For those looking to escape the noisy tourist spots and unwind in a cozy setting, this place is highly recommended. Just be aware that there are cats present, so if you have strong allergies, it might be something to consider. Overall, a delicious and enjoyable dining experience.
A visit to The Doctor's Inn is an annual tradition for my husband and me, as well as our friends. It is a private dining experience hosted by a attentive male and female team. Starting with delicious appetizers and ending with a satisfying dessert, the food is both delicious and comforting. A highlight of each meal is the fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from their extensive organic gardens.

My wife and I are vegetarian/vegan and we were accommodated beyond our expectations. The wine parings were spot on. The service was dedicated and thoughtful. If you are looking to get away from the loud touristy restaurants and relax through a leisurely four course feast this will be a treat!Note: if you are severely allergic to cats you may wish to reconsider.
