Longhorn Steakhouse - Tyler

Mary Jo.. my Mom (98) had a gift card. She suggested lunching here for my birthday 8/25. I'm grateful to have Mom Longhorn in Tyler. I hope it has a long successful run like my awesome Mom. ?

The first thing I have to say is that it's a great place overall the waiters check on you frequently, the food is delicious, a relaxing kid friendly environment, we were seated quickly and they have good silverware and a real stake knife that actually cuts things.

I got the chicken fried steak. It had a good flavor but I just don't like it when the meat slides out of the breading real easy. The roasted brussel sprouts were delicious. Overall good experience.

Let me start by saying my son took me here about 3 yrs ago and I absolutely loved it . Since then, I have been back several times and have disappointed more and more each time. This particular time my steak was mostlyfat. The brussel sprouts were also horrible. The only good thing was the brisket queso we had as an appetizer. I have included some pictures but keep in mind it looks a hell of a lot better than it tastes.

Chicken fried steak and sirloin steak were great. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was good. It was not noisy at all and music played very low. You could actually visit.
