Delicious Greek food. We tried this place for dinner while visiting the area. The food was amazing and the baklava is incredible. We will be back next time we are in the area. Vicky the owner is an amazing person.

GREEK! You will not find better Greek food within 100 miles of Tyler. I have been here many times. I always get the sampler plate. And if you like baklava they make it homemade and it is Legit. Great service! Great atmosphere! If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out. Oh and you can ignore negative reviews that say the service isn’t good. I’ve been here many times and it’s always good. I’m sure they have hard days. The food is very authentic as long as you’re eating Greek. I can’t speak for the non-Greek food they make.

First visit. Very friendly server. Restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but was filling up nicely when we left. Several pick up orders. The food was delicious and the baklava was the best I've had in ages. The spanakopita was also great!

We are out of our home town and we’re looking for a difference in cuisine. Athena Greek American filled us up with some of the best ethnic food we have had in ages. From appetizers to dessert the entrees were authentic,delicious, and well priced. . The generous portions were tummy yummy delights. The friendly staff and the and the ambient atmosphere made our evening complete. The beautiful scenic travel slides almost made me want to hop the next flight the Greek Islands.

Went during lunch after the rush, sweet server and mother working together. Food took a little longer because less staff after lunch rush. Poor darling server broke her glasses, so she accidentally messed up a couple of our orders... But we didn't mind because we were trying to stay warm during the almost Winter Storm and had plenty of time. We ordered a variety of dishes but mostly gyros and kebobs, which were yummy and tender. The experience was mostly for the kids to try Greek for the first time. They were intrepedacious at first, but loved it when they tried it. Making the little Gyro sandwiches was a fun tactile activity for them(even the little one). If you don't get a side salad, ask for a pitcher of their dressing, IT IS AMAZING, with ALL of their meats. Would love to go back and try more menu items!
