Pier 16 Seafood - Tybee Island

This place by far is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. Everything was delicious and we were able to make reservations which was nice being everything in the summertime there?s a huge wait. It?s a bit pricey but well worth it! I ordered a sirloin and literally it melted in my mouth it was the best steak I think I have ever eaten and it was ginormous. We were very satisfied 10 out of 10 for sure!

We ate here on a whim, with no idea what to expect. We actually chose this place because we walked past it and thought the rooftop patio looked cool. The steamed seafood platter was AMAZING. Everything was cooked seasoned perfectly. Two of us got the shrimp grits, among the best we've ever had anywhere, and probably the best shrimp grits on the island. One of the kids got a pound of crab (which took him 2 hours to eat! , and he said it was the best meal he's ever had. This place was a little pricey, but it was SO good that it was totally worth it! I would go here again if we came back to visit Tybee.

The food was fresh and so delicious. I ordered the Whole Fried Flounder dinner. The flounder was perfect. The red potato mashed potatoes were perfect. The seasonal vegetables were perfect (string beans and carrots?not mushy). The chocolate mousse cake made me moan. Joseph was better than perfect and made the BEST mojito. He greeted me with a genuine smile and made me feel welcome to the establishment. Ask for him personally if you should visit?he?s the best!

Absolutely loved my experience there. My date and I went for a night out in Tybee. This place has fantastic fresh seafood. We sat on the roof top area. The menu is diverse that if you're not in the mood for seafood you can find something you want. The drinks from the bar were in point. I got the Georgia Peach Arnold Palmer. It was the perfect beach drink to compliment my blue crab cake dinner. The peanut butter chocolate was so so good, but rather rich. Definitely a share kind of dessert. Our waiter was friendly, prompt, and helpful in offering menu advice on what was great. We loved our experience. The place is unique, beach vibe, fun, and a good place to just come eat great and hang out. Will definitely return.

My husband and had a dinner in this restaurant two days in a row. We loved the food, service, and the environment. The first night I ordered crab and shrimp dip that comes with the fried pita chips. For the drink I had Tybee Surfer which is fruity with the alcohol hint. The second night I had an arcadia strawberry pecan salad with goat cheese. Everything was delicious and must try if you are in Tybee Island.
