Ballaro - Twickenham

Fantastic independent restaurant. We’ve been getting pizza to take away from here throughout the pandemic (best pizza around! but we came in last night to eat for the first time and loved it! The portions are huge, and the food is so fresh delicious. We both had a starter pasta and were incredibly stuffed but had to try dessert and were very happy that we did. (The tiramisu panna cotta are amazing. Good coffee too. It has a really nice atmosphere, it’s really cosy but we love that the front windows open all the way out too, giving it an airy feel. The owners staff are so lovely, we had such a nice evening. We will definitely be dining in again, and we always recommend it to friends family.

Very good, friendly Italian restaurant with focus on regional Sicilian oriented. we were past ballarò and had a time that was tempted by the smell of fresh pizza and decided to pay a visit. we have eaten our fair share of Italian food in london as well as in italia, which was very good in that. we had a calzone and the Fritto-Mutto (fried roy prawns, whitebait, squid.) the calzone was perfectly cooked with a chewing basic and full of cheese, mushrooms and tomatoes. the Fretto mix was fresh and tasty with the artichokes a beautiful supplement. for dessert we had a Pana-Catta and tiramasu, both well balanced and just as they should be. the service was attentive and we will be sure to visit again.

I can't blame this restaurant. the personal is professional, attentive, friendly and generally everything they want from a service perspective. eating itself is extraordinary and I was never disappointed. why they go somewhere like pizza expression / dominos and pay more for müll pizza is beyond me. try this place and they will not be disappointed.

As a returning customer, I visited on a weekday this time. The food was amazing, and the customer service was excellent—staff members were very attentive. We ordered a variety of starters along with pizzas for our main courses. The portions were generous, and I ended up taking some pizza home! The restaurant also followed Covid safety measures.

I recently visited Ballarò for the first time, and I must say, the restaurant features a stunning interior with large folding doors that create a lovely continental atmosphere. I ordered the frito misto, which was delightful. The staff were beautiful and attentive, providing excellent service. I would have given a five-star rating, but there were a few minor details that seemed to lack some care—perhaps my expectations were too high? For instance, the fizzy water was served without ice or a slice of lemon. Additionally, the delicious-sounding cocktails advertised on a small menu made me envision sparkles and sunshades, but they felt a little lackluster. A bit reminiscent of Del Boy, perhaps? Haha! Overall, it’s a beautiful place worth visiting, and I would definitely recommend it.
