Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent service and delicious Mexican food at reasonable prices. We brought our toddler along, and they kindly accommodated us by giving us a table with extra space for the stroller!
Gilroy to Twainharte 3 hour drive. Skipped the home breakfast did not survive. Parked at El Jardin at Twainharte for to quiet the stomach rumble. El Jardin Mexican food a total fumble. Vomit Tortilla soup served in a bowl. My stomach churned then an hour latter went down the toilet hole. Stomach crunches all night long. The chips, the tacos, the soup, the service all wrong. If you land in Twainharte do your self a favor. Skip El Jardin if your avoiding food poisoning and want flavor.
We really enjoy Mexican cuisine and want to support this restaurant in the Twain Harte area, but unfortunately, it is poorly managed. After visiting more than a dozen times as dedicated fans of Mexican food, I can share several frustrating experiences: we've been double charged, had tips applied twice, received incorrect dishes multiple times, and found the place unexpectedly closed during operating hours with no notice. Today was particularly disappointing; we walked in at 6:50 PM and were informed that they close at 7 PM and wouldn’t serve us. My first thought was—it's a three-day weekend! How can you close at 7? Additionally, all the information online indicates you’re open until 8 PM. In a town with limited dining options, it’s unfortunate that this restaurant remains open while others struggle. They could improve significantly with just a few adjustments, but it seems they don’t feel the need to make changes since they continue to attract customers simply due to the lack of alternatives, doing nothing to enhance their reputation or operations.
I recently had the opportunity to dine at El Jardin, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. I feel it’s important to share my thoughts to help others make informed dining decisions. One of the most concerning aspects of my visit was the lack of price transparency. The menu did not include any prices, and it seemed that the cost of the dishes was based on their appearance. This not only made me uncomfortable, but it also raised questions about fairness and inclusivity. On another occasion, I ordered food to go and was disappointed to find that it was missing some essential items. The lack of silverware and napkins in the takeout package was particularly frustrating, as these are crucial for an enjoyable dining experience, even when eating outside the restaurant. While the atmosphere and flavors of the food were commendable, the issues with pricing and the absence of basic necessities overshadowed the positives. I believe that transparency in pricing is vital for customers to make informed choices, and providing basic amenities like silverware and napkins is essential to ensure a pleasant dining experience. I hope that El Jardin takes these suggestions into account and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the overall customer experience. Addressing these concerns could go a long way toward building a more positive reputation and ensuring happier customers in the future.
This place sucks!!! I just wanted a tostada and they don't serve al a cart on the weekends. I wasn't going to pay $16.99 for a meal I wouldn't finish. Ordered bean dip. Came out lukewarm to cold and the beans are watery. Table ordered shot of tequila and I recommend ordering top shelf because the one we got was awful. Ok for stopping if you're desperate. Service and ambiance is ok. Staff is friendly and place is clean
