Vertshuset, Tvedestrand

Cozy restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor area is on a raft with a good atmosphere. Went out with the family and ate a very good meal. Very tasty food. Good portions. Can heartily recommend.

Visitet for lunch on a rainy day so sitting outdoor was not an alternative. The inside of the restaurant is not big, apx. 10 tables. We both went for a Toast Skagen that turned out to be just excellent, both for the eye and for the palate. A large portion of tasty bread with plenty of topping. Together with our Toast Skagen we had a nice bottle of white wine. Limited but not expensive winelist. Service very friendly and efficient.

Serve was impeccable and the food excellent. Ate here twice and can recommend the Tapas and the Sea Trout.

Really nice and romantic location. Professional staff! Amazing cacao with such a good whipped cream! Relaxing! Amazing!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we came there for breakfast. The breakfast options were basic and unremarkable.
