Udon texture is great. Soba is good. This is always my go-to recommendation when someone wants soba. I really love this place.
The soba here is delicious. I had the cold soba sampler because I needed to try them all favourite was the ume soba highly recommended!
We visited this restaurant twice; the first time, we left because there was a long wait. After our visit, we had mixed feelings. The wait time was quite long, even though there were at least two tables available inside. It took a while for us to be seated, which left us a bit disappointed, but thankfully, we weren't in a rush. There was only one waiter/host on duty, and he didn’t come to check on those waiting. In the end, we waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, but once we were seated, the experience improved significantly. The waiter was very friendly and respectful, and the food was quite good, though it also took some time to prepare. The prices are very reasonable, so overall, it was a decent experience.
Absolutely authentic Japanese soba, but be prepared to wait. All the horror stories about the long wait times are true, but it’s worth it for the genuine handmade soba noodles. The chef hails from Japan and boasts over 40 years of experience.
