La Bamba Mexican Grill - Tuscaloosa

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was blown away by the amazing food. The quesadilla was the best I've ever had and the rice and beans were incredibly flavorful. The complimentary salsa with chips was delicious too. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was that the facility was very run-down and appeared dirty. The dusty vents and ceiling fans, as well as the water-damaged ceiling tiles, were a major turn-off. I will definitely be back for the food, but next time I'll probably opt for takeout.

The food was delicious, but the customer service was lacking. Our waitress never returned to refill our drinks and gave us dirty looks as we left. Despite this, we still left her a $20 tip that she did not deserve. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

My first time here, met up with a friend. I had the Labamba rice with grilled chicken??OMG, it was sooo good! It was hot, fresh loaded with flavor. I?ll be back!

The service at this restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious and it's the perfect spot to gather with coworkers after work.

Worst customer service ever. we had to find a waiter to come take our order. He never did check back to see if we needed a refill or anything else. We requested a to go cup and he brought a empty cup about 10 minutes later. We had to ask twice fornapkins. when checking out, the cashier asked if everything was OK. I told her no. She did not even ask what was wrong or howthey could improve. I then asked her did she want to know what was wrong and she said no there?s nothing she could do becauseshe?s just an employee. There was no manager on duty to talk to. There are too many Mexican restaurants in town to choose fromthat has better service than this.
