Brick Spoon Tuscaloosa

My husband and I went to brunch on Valentine's Day and there was hardly anyone there. We ordered the cookies and Gravy to begin and it was a bit cold to be honest. But I had the filled French toast slides and they were KILLER. Super on the sweet side, so paired with one side of bacon was perfect. We also enjoyed the Moimosa Trio. They were very fresh and delicious! We're leaving.

This restaurant is amazing, that was my second visit. The first was when he was open first. And to be honest, it was a mediocre experience. But they really redeemed! At first I went hesitant in the morning after the Alabama/LSU game. And even with a crowded restaurant and a line to the Kurb, our server was able to give us individual service, she was funny with us and she did an amazing job. The food was better than I remember. I started with the Cafe Beignets, the strawberry marmalade (which is seasonal) was a fantastic introduction pair with a classic mimose. The main event was the Killer Creole Omelet, O. M. G! It was so delicious if you have seafood allergies, I recommend or bring your epi pen!

Great breakfast place with tons of great options to choose from. The waitress was very nice and fast with everything. We started with the beignets that were delicious. Then the whole table ordered the Killer-Creole Omelett, large portion and absolutely delicious. You have a counter on the wall, how many **** Marys have been consumed, I will add these numbers. We'll try more again!

It seems like a local favorite and you will easily relate once you visit the establishment. It was worth the wait time for sure. The ambience is friendly and so are the wait-staff. We will definitely go back again and we happily recommend it.
