Robertson Bbq Country Store

I found in my food and my drink, never coming here again. This was the worst trip ever for me and my kids.

Needed lunch on the way from Ohio to Biloxi. Found Robertson via Yelp and it was the highlight of the day. Great BBQ pork sandwich. We also took home a bottle of sauce. Love supporting local business! And it was obviously a popular place locally too. Yes it's in a gas station but that's part of the experience! Saw multiple catering pickups while there too. Just a great all around lunch and friendly place. Well worth the drive off the highway! Thanks for the great T-shirt too!

I have been to this place many, many times, but honestly have never thought to review it since it really isn 't in Tuscaloosa . Located about 20 miles southwest of Tuscaloosa is another fine example of great southern barbeque coupled with great southern hospitality. Renee Robertson does a fantastic job. This is a little old country store and gas station like you see on any Alabama backroads. It still operates as a station and store, but has a restaurant located in it too. The barbecue is great, tasty and moist, and the sauce is actually my all time favorite. Anything with the pulled pork or chicken can 't go wrong. They also have great old fashioned hamburgers. All of this is coupled with some if the friendliest, down-home folks you 'll ever meet. Worth the drive from Tuscaloosa if you want great barbecue.

This is the best bbq restaurant and catering in Tuscaloosa County. If you live in Tuscaloosa or Northport, it is worth the drive.
