Canyon Star Steakhouse Saloon - Tusayan

We ordered soup, which was really a cream.(very rich) and half chicken, also rich.

We went and it wasn't open we wanted to eat lunch but it was closed they told us that it was going to reopen at 5pm

Mediocre food, mediocre service, mediocre atmosphere. Only go here if you’ve just checked into the hotel and are desperate for a bite to eat after a long drive.

The soup was so salty and when we informed the waitress she just has a smirky face, she didn’t care. The fish was ok. It’s isn’t cheap. The restaurant was empty but they don’t let us sit where we wanted. Staff aren’t friendly and not well trained.

Despite no one being seated inside, we were kept waiting outside for 20 minutes. The wait continued at our table with an additional 20-minute for our dishes. To our surprise, there were no utensils provided, and the overall cost seemed steep given the service quality. On a positive note, the food was excellent, but the overall experience left much to be desired.
