Contribuiți la feedbackWe inquired about the portion size of the chicken schnitzel and if we could share one between the two of us. We were informed that we needed to order one each as half would not be sufficient. The meal was very large, and we ended up taking half of it home for our dog and cat. My friend also found it to be overpriced, and the quality of the food was not great.
We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and charming setting of this suburban cafe. Our second visit was even better than the first, as they have expanded their menu. The food was delicious with a wide range of options, all at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and attentive.
What a charming café! I adore the motorcycle mounted on the wall and the cute little cacti. The breakfast was delicious and affordable. I will definitely return! :)
Meal: Vanilla Slice & Watermelon MocktailI had already eaten elsewhere when my friends and I decided on a pit stop for a drink. The Vanilla Slice was made in the Cam Bakery and was creamy and beautiful. The icing wasn't too sweet and the custard was a creamy texture. The drink was beautiful and refreshing, Watermelon, Coconut Wate and Lime. It was a perfect refreshing drink and I couldn't get enough of it. I wanted more.AtmosphereQuirky cafe, with interesting types of cacti. It's very small, you woudn't want a large group in there. Ideal for 2 - 4 people.ServiceYou are required to go to the counter to order and your food/drinks are bought out to you. The service was good, not amazing. However you're not always able to make an impression within less then a min.I would recommend this venue to everyone. It's certainly a cheap menu!
This little gem is a must-visit for those passing through or living on the north west coast of Tassie. Easy to miss if you don't know it's there. Offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and just starting to do dinners, this gorgeous little café stands out from the crowd. If you're a cactus/succulent lover you will enjoy checking out the great array of pots for sale - and the amusing addition of a motorbike inside the café with cacti growing out of various nooks and crannies. There is a great selection of hot and cold drinks, delicious (and mainly healthy) meal options and mouthwatering cakes and muffins. All are reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and there is a real 'homey' atmosphere inside. There is additional seating outside as well. I love the vibe and intend to become a regular customer. The café is now open 7 days a week - which is a rareity in Tassie.
