King's Cafe Bistrot - Turin

Never have I been to a restaurant where I have seen so many of the clients tackle the waitresses with their complaints. I blame the person who decided to tout for business close to the Cinema museum.They did attract business and swamped the waitresses, bar staff and kitchen with work that they could not cope with. It was a Sunday lunchtime, we waited for forty five minutes for our meal as did others, drink orders were wrongly despatched, it was also evident that the four kitchen staff were working under huge pressure which broke their rhythm. Another minus, was that the bread served when the meal was ordered was stale beyond eating, excused by the waitresses that it was a Sunday. The food was good and the waitresses worked hard, but there was no way I was going to tip on this lunch.

We ordered a risotto, a spaghetti and a carbonara pasta. All 3 plates not tasty at all. I suggest to avoid this restaurant.

Pasta was awful, same goes for the cheeseburger. The water glas was miserable, dirty etc. No englush speaking personel.

Great service, very helpful staff. Her Pasta Carbonara was wonderful. The waiter spoke English and they had an English menu. They also had cognac.

Good service, good food and wine. Recommended to visit the place!
