Nice atmosphere. High quality food, but not pretentious. Interesting desserts. Good for a romantic dinner.

Also in downtown Turin, Italy. Not for some of the museums and places. I sat here for dinner. The Vino is exquisite. It is not a huge restaurant and there was only one person on the waitress and she managed to do it very well. The restaurant is very popular and they speak English. The price is not cheap, but also not so expensive. The food is not the tourist type that awaits you elsewhere; this is traditional Italian cuisine. Save space for dessert as there is a popular layer with peaches on the bottom. Even the locals make reservations only for Dessert. Buouno appetito! Bye.

I’ve been to Caffe della Basilica Bistrot three times (so far! in the past month since arriving in Turin. While there are many outstanding dining options in Turin, this establishment has captured my heart (well, stomach! . The food is predominantly Piedmontese, with a few other dishes from other regions of Italy no matter what you order, you will be pleased. Additionally, the staff couldn’t be nicer.

Extremely friendly service. Amazing antipasti. Great wine selection.
