Contribuiți la feedbackI wanted to eat there after reading the positive reviews. but when we went there, the service was very bad, the waiters were cold and left us unwilling (in contrast to other restaurants that we were in Alsace, where they are welcoming and friendly). a hair in the food and they agreed unwillingly to sort it, which is again unusual for restaurants. the service also took old, we had to approx. 30 min wait until our starter could come and spend at the end almost 3 hours for our visit due to the long delays. the food itself was ok, but some of the other restaurants that we were more nice for a similar price. In short, I would recommend the countless other places that have similar price, equal / better eat and a far better and friendly service.
Main plates were ok: flame chefs and pork shaft. starter (roasted mint) and dessert (cream brulee) not so.........definitely reheated (skarzely.) the cheese was cold and so the cream brulee. the atmosphere is ok and drinks well.
We had a very good salade gourmant (with foie gras, duck and jam) for a very good price on a small table outside. cozy, relaxed atmosphere. the service was friendly and fast.

The service took ages too we had to wait about 30 min for our starter to come and in the end spend nearly 3 hours for our visit due to the long delays. The food itself was ok, but some of the other restaurants we’ve been were nicer for a similar price. In short, I’d recommend trying the myriad of other places which have similar price, equal/better food and a far better and friendlier service.
We both took a typical dish : choucroute and jambonneau . Both were delicious (ham was braised for 4 hours so the meat is supertender . The setting is in a cellar and the service was very good I would advise not to take a starter :...the portions are very generous : Worth to look for it.
