Cover's Apple Ranch - Tuolumne

This is a fantastic spot for families with kids or grandkids. You can interact with farm animals, feed the ducks and goats, or enjoy a train ride around the property. There's also playground equipment for the little ones. The breakfast and lunch menu is excellent, featuring a variety of delicious baked goods and a lovely gift shop. Food: 5/5

We had been visiting the sites in and around Tuolumne City when we decided to have lunch at Covers Apple Ranch. I had the Tuna Melt with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. It was a very enjoyable and comfortable experience. The food, atmosphere, service people, and bakery were all wonderful. The price was very reasonable too. A return trip is definitely being planned.Vegetarian options: Various options for the total or partial vegetarian diets.Wheelchair accessibility: Very much an open type dining area. Easy to get around and the staff is very helpful.

Covers is a lovely family owned business. It's a great place to bring your whole family. Their apple cider and pies are so delicious.Kid-friendliness: There is a train, play structure, farm animals, grassy areas, and more.

The train was fun. $4.50 for ages 3 and up. They allowed our dog to ride. Granddaughters enjoyed the playground. For this I would have given 4 stars. The problem was the animals. Their pens were really dirty and smelled awful. I hope they get out of their pens because they were really small and mostly cement. It made us sad to see.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the different apple varieties and were more than willing to answer all my questions. I was also impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the store, making it easy to browse and shop. I highly recommend visiting Covers Apple Ranch if you find yourself in the Tuolumne area. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with friends and family, and you'll leave with some of the freshest and most delicious produce around. Overall, I had a 5-star experience that I won’t soon forget.
