One of our meals was the lamb salad and unfortunately it was loaded with gristle and fat, as well as being tasteless. This overshadowed the chicken salad which was very nice, as was the calamari.Meals took a little longer than we anticipated.Great outlook and service was very good too.Locals are commenting that this place has slipped in it's quality and value. They might be right, judging by some other comments we've read.

The food was quite well done though the chowder had a bit too much potato. Service was okay. Not too bad a spot for a pleasant lunch.

A favourite lunch stopover for us , but felt the meals had slipped a little chewy steak - mushy chips - to much batter on fish.

I have been here twice, the first time for morning tea, I ordered a coffee and muffin and the coffee arrived with no muffin, we had actually finished the coffee as I asked a waitress walking past about the rest of our order. It eventually arrived so we had to order another drink. The only reason I went back a second time was an invite to a party. It was a weekend and I chose the seafood chowder only to find it wasn't available, so I went for fish cakes, I totally agree with the last reviewer they were all potato and over salted. A huge disappointment. So many nice places to eat in the area I won't be returning.

We read some of the negative reviews but decided to have dinner here as the location was so great and it was a fresh seafood supply outlet.Bad choice. The seafood chowder was ok but full of potato and very little seafood. The fish cakes were huge and well cooked but again mostly potato and very little seafood.Then here was the chargrilled seafood pasta, what a disappointment, not much pasta , heaps of what I think was spinach and the seafood was a mix of "who knows" there were NO prawns, just 2 mussels and the rest must of been fish of some sort but it was all drowned in the spinach and a thick layer of grilled cheese, yuck, a very unpleasant dish and not as described on the menu.After all this I woke at 3.30am in the morning with what I can only describe as food poisoning, three hours on the toilet. Then the rest of the day getting over it.I would never go back to this place.
