Hattusa - TUNBRIDGE WELLS

Been coming to Hatussa in TW for many years now and it's consistently excellent. We usually have the cold meze followed by the mixed grill. Soooo much food and cooked to perfection. The meze is always fresh and full of flavour and the mixed grill has a great selection with the Lamb chops and lamb shish being the stars of the show. A bottle of Turkish wine and a few Efes put the icing on a great meal. It's is a little bright and there's lots of takeaway activity but this doesn't detract from the superb food and excellent service. We live in Turkey for the majority of the year so are used to great food and this is up there with the best. Definitely the best Turkish in Tunbridge Wells in our opinion.

I adore this place. The food and service are excellent and the atmosphere is truly authentic. The chicken shish is delicious. Whether as a couple or with the family, we always have a great time.

The restaurant offers high-quality, authentic Turkish food that is cooked to order at a reasonable price. However, two stars were deducted due to the excessively bright lighting, which made it feel like being on stage. Dimming the lights and using LED candles would create a more welcoming and intimate evening atmosphere. We will definitely return once this design issue is addressed!

I decided to try out a Lebanese restaurant before a show and stumbled upon this place with great reviews. It exceeded my expectations! The meat lover's feast was incredible - we enjoyed a hot meze and mixed grill platter along with a generous salad, bread, bulgur wheat, and rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. The only downside was that there was so much food we couldn't take any home. The bill came out to £68, including service and a nice bottle of red wine. Despite the casual atmosphere with delivery drivers coming in and out, the food was well worth it. We will definitely be returning.
