Happy Harvest Chinese Takeaway

Fantastic Chinese. Get takeaway at least monthly for the last few years and quality is always excellent. Compared to others local to me there is no contest. Highly recommend!

Mould on food received from this Chinese shop very very rude owners very violent swearing on the phone I ordered a Chinese from here for me and my family to start off with we had to wait over an hour which is nowadays reasonable for takeaways which wasn’t my concern however we received the meal to my horror my eldest child took a bite and inside of the chicken balls were mouldy absolute disgusting my eldest son run to the toilet to spit it out he said it tasted absolute disgusting my husband cut the other chicken balls in half to find the inside of the batter was mouldy and smell absolute vile I phoned the Chinese shop and told them and they said no I was lying that is not true I said to the lady I can send you a photo of this The owner at happy harvest Chinese shop said that I was lying and this isn’t right I could not believe how she spoke to me on the phone she shouted at me swearing at me saying that you are trying to get free meals I said no I have been using this Chinese shop for over eight years bear in mind I’ve spent a lot of money with this Chinese shop over the years and I was treated with discussed she was not willing to take the item back I had explained to her my child ate this item and it was full of mould I will definitely not ever be using this restaurant at all again I dare to think what the premises are like inside. I have not come in contact with someone so rude in my whole entire life and are family meal was ruined and my children refused to eat it because of the mould on the inside of the batter inside of all the chicken balls I’m not sure if they hadn’t been stored properly or what happened I can assure you this is a health concern And if I was you I’d be very careful as I said I cannot believe how rude these people were on the phone to me after eight years of me using this takeaway

Really didn 't like their food. All mixed starters were just deep fried ****. Tasteless and not enjoyable. Mains werent good either. Called and said nothing is good and wanted a refund. Told no you 've tried this. If you don 't like it order something different next time Wouldn 't recommend. Wouldn 't return again

The food at this restaurant is of good quality and they offer a variety of Asian cuisines such as Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. The only drawback is that they do not accept cards on Fridays and Saturdays, and if you try to order by phone on other nights, they hang up before you can provide your card details. Be sure to have cash on hand when ordering.

Always great food and some nice new Korean dishes on the menu . And the sop is looking great after the new refurbishment .
