Frankie Benny's Tunbridge Wells

The staff that we were served by were lovely and deserve to be told that. As for the food and the experience, I haven’t been for years and the new branding just doesn’t work for us. The food is basic, no presentation in the dishes we had and the restaurant was quite dirty. The food was nice what we had tho and I would go back to try again if we were passing. Thanks to our server, I would mention her but she didn’t leave a name on our receipt :

Really disappointed. Would not recommend. Children had the ‘big eater’ menu. They brought the wrong meal out for one of them which he started to eat. Then they took the plate away and brought his pizza. It was minuscule. Very thin, very small with some melted cheese on top. All gone within 3-4 minutes. The corn they ordered were 1/4 sized pieces, and the bread was burned. My burger was the extra large version for nearly £18 and it was ok. Couldn’t eat the waffle and ice cream pudding as it had been drowned in half a can of foam. Won’t be going back

Top service from Sean, so funny and great with kids. Service here has always been great whenever I have come to Frankie and Bennys. Their pizzas are the best!!!

Using a discount voucher, we were pleased with the level of service despite the restaurant being very busy. Huge choice of dishes, most of an Italian nature although basics such as fish chips were available. Choice of wines not great. We chose to share a portion of garlic bread and the newly added cod and crab bites. Both were good although the portion size of the bites was on the small size. Mains were lasagne and rack of pork ribs. Both were enormous and tasty. BBQ sauce was too sugary and way too many extras including fries, corn on the cob and coleslaw. What a waste.

Went here for breakfast which isn't unusual, but what was unusual was how empty it was and it didn't have its usual music on, all we could hear was radio music blasting from a staff room. The last time I visited I found a piece of shell in my food but I thought I'd give it another go. Sadly I was dissapointed, the omelette was so bland and tasteless! Dirty used cutlery remained on the table from the night before, no checkback or care was given by the waitress who spent most of the time on her phone.
