Tumbulgum Tavern - Tumbulgum Australia

Opposite the hotel there is a beach to the harbour jet skis that was to visit for a new location. there was a huge job as a queensland was celebrating. we have on our garlic bread on approx. 40 minutes mark checked and said we are in the same boat as all others. when our main thing came out, it was minus the garlic bread that they argued we had been given earlier. some dishes were good others were average.

This is a great pub with spectacular views of the river. it was a busy day so that eating one lasted to get out, but it was worth waiting. Standard powder lunch menu that was well cooked. very friendly staff and great customer service. recommend it, especially for a motorbike ride down.

By far one of the worse culinary experiences I had to experience the unfortunate. the special beef curry ordered, and it was certainly especially, no seasoned, blandaroma, over boiled rice. resembled a very bad beef cerrole and not a curry. very poor quality and very small portions. sad to say that if the tavern is in such a big place on the river, and a bit more wall in the kitchen would go far.

Beautiful backyard area with playground, but service was appalling. 30 minutes in a waiting queue. it was said that it would take 45 minutes to an hour, but almost 2 hours needed to serve. Eating was okay, but nothing special. when the members of our group were asked after the progress of their meal, they were discarded and no apologies or a offer were given by any alternative. if they wait small children with them 2 hours is a pretty big thing.

Waited half an hour to order and then an hour and 20 for the food to come out. Pretty weak. Food was ok. Parma was fine, pork belly was pretty good, but neither was worth the price, nor the wait.
