Mondo's Ristorante Italiano - Tulsa

“Forget about it!” Best authentic Italian food anywhere! I have eaten Italian food all over the USA. No one comes close to Mondo’s. Mondo and his sons always greet me and my family with a smile. They go out of the way stop and talk with us at our table. Have been eating there since my wife and I got engaged at the old location Year’s ago. Best spaghetti and meat balls ever created! Not to mention the pizza... Incredible at the very least. Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo is so creamy and filling. My last meal ever, will be Mondo’s. Thank you Mondo and sons. God Bless!

I recently ate here with some girlfriends. There were of us and we had made a reservation. Even though it was a busy Saturday evening, we were seated right away showing up about minutes before our p.m. reservation. I liked the dim lighting and picture crowded walls, however the space is a bit tight and there is not much distance between the tables. The service was excellent, seemingly our waiter showed up right as we were needing something. I had a Peroni and one of their wood fired pizzas, the Papa Louie’s Favorite. It was HUGE!! The flavor was excellent, but I was expecting a thinner crust. It was crisp but more of a pan pizza dough thickness. I also ordered a side salad with my pizza as only the entree’s come with a salad. There was nothing wrong with it nor anything special, and it was I will skip that next time as a add on. I will most definitely be going back as I would like to try more of the items on the menu and their cocktails looked and sounded tasty too!

The best Italian restaurant! we are of wichita, ks and were not blessed with a kitchen, as rich as mondos ristorante italiano. it is the perfect setting, size and decoration to accompany such fabulous entreen. silent films with charlie chaplin are projected on the walls surrounded by pictures of the beautiful Aloisio family (owner). mike aloisio greeted us with such enthusiasm and friendliness. We tried Mondo's on a whim, as there was a Groupon the restaurant is normally a bit pricier than a place I'd go (10 to 15-ish dollars for lunch menu items). We were seated at a table that was nearly pushed up next to the people dining next to us, which was awkward for a minute. Luckily the most amazing waiter I've ever encountered, true story, noticed and corrected the situation. This guy made the meal excellent, and I noticed the rest of the staff were also wonderful. The inside of the restaurant has a classy yet home-like feel, with family photos covering the walls. I could see directly into the back, where there is a wood-burning pizza oven.
