Contribuiți la feedbackThe hot dog place ever! I have not found any restaurant I created as much as coney island feels the city center site as if they go back in time to a much easier world. I have not been able to order less than 6 my personal best is 12.
I know that's probably more nostalgia than anything, but every time I travel to tulsa, I think I'm a few cheese bags. they are much different from where I ate them. a soft bungalow with a large hot dog, with a mild chili that has a hauch cinnamon, I think), then finished with a cheese and swirl. I love it
I'll be here in the week. the lady who is always there is so beautiful and the young man with the pink hat. they have great coneys that are always fresh with friendly service. do not complain about this place.
This place is a local sign. I hope they never update it because there is so much charm. my friends and I always had competitions how many we could eat, but now I go back because the koneys are really good.
I grew up in Tulsa Oklahoma and attended, Central High downtown in the sixties. At lunch time 30 min, gulp! we students would race to the Coney Island on Boston.The store windows would be fogged from the steam, during the winter and the smell of those lil dogs were heavenly! Customers wld hve their trays LOADED! they were only 25 cents then, and delicious! The coney buns were gently steamed warm moist, not soggy onions,FINELY chopped, yummy chili and tasty, tender, dog! They also had slices of pie,,,,YUM! Downtown employees and students filled the place at lunch time. If I'm not mistaken, I think, Ikes Chili House, was on the same street?
