It was clear to me she had no shame to mistreat us by making matters worse in mocking us when getting a refund to leave. The manager was helpful and gave us cookies to at least leave on a sweet note. Great manager, bad cashier with worse customer service.
Great spot for sandwiches, soups and salads. Fresh food and good service too. Kids menu is pretty good and their sugar cookies are excellent! Great variety of chicken salad and turkey sandwiches as well.Food: 5/5
I came in and placed a to-go order. Then I waited 20 minutes and saw at least 10 people that ordered after me get their food. I then asked the man at the counter and he no one could find my order. The lady that took my order had to re-print my ticket and I waited another 8 minutes to get my food. I was on my lunch break and late returning and didn't have the chance to eat. Definitely need better customer service. I should have been refunded or at least given a credit/gift card for the long wait.
I freaking love this place, the chicken salad is phenomenal and the sides are delicious. They have all different kinds of chicken salad that can meet anyones preferences.
As time passed, I heard the order expediter telling several other customers that their broccoli was still being chopped for the broccoli salad. Eventually, they were informed it would take 30 minutes for their salads and were offered alternatives. After waiting 15 minutes for my pimento cheese, I asked the order expediter when my order would be ready since she had just handed out an order that was placed after mine. She told me she had no control over the kitchen and that it would be ready whenever they got to it. While I understood that the food service might be short-staffed, I continued to wait. When I hit the 30-minute mark and noticed multiple people receiving their orders placed after mine, I again asked the order expediter when I could expect to get my pimento cheese. I also inquired about a refund if it wasn’t going to be ready soon. She told me she had no idea when my $8 pimento cheese would be available, and if I wanted a refund, I would have to go to the back of the line and wait for it. This struck me as utterly ridiculous since I had already been waiting for 30 minutes. She then reprimanded me for my language and insisted that the only way to get a refund was to return to the end of the line. Frustrated, I chose to leave the restaurant and forfeit my $8. I won’t be coming back again and will be sharing this experience with my coworkers in the building next door to warn them about the appalling customer service I encountered. I hope a manager sees this review and speaks with the order expediter about improving her interactions with customers. Instead of providing such poor service, she could have simply checked with the kitchen to see if my order was misplaced. This was a very disappointing experience for someone who has been a long-time customer.
