Billy Ray's Catfish Bbq Tulsa

First time ordering (via DD) after seeing a glowing review in a FB group... It wasn't bad, but not phenomenal. I should have taken my first clue from the name, with BBQ as the second part of it. The catfish was delicious and tartar sauce too! 9.5/10 Pulled pork was ok, kind of dry and tasted pretty much like the pre-cooked pulled pork from the cold case at Sam's. 6/10 Smoked sausage was again, ok but tasted like extra smokey Eckrich sausage from Sam's. Bit dry as well. 6/10 Potato salad tasted like Reasor's tub that you can buy anywhere. Not bad, but you can tell when it's not made onsite. 6/10 Tabouli was some of the best I've ever had. Definitely seemed like it was fresh made and was crisp and refreshing. 11/10 I'll definitely go back for the awesome catfish, tabouli, and prices, but will leave the BBQ to other places.

Actually I only went in to place a to go order. Could've went through the drive thru but the line was long. So , it was a Saturday evening and they were BUSY. That was expected. Took a couple of mins before someone could take my order but it didn't take long at all for them to prepare it. Ordered two full rib dinners and a pulled pork sandwich. They had it out in less than 5 mins. Considering how busy they were , that was awesome. Of course the ribs were great. My mom said the sandwich was delicious too. So for a little less than $50 that feed 3 adults. And we couldn't have been happier with the food and service. Go check them out .... They make great bar b que..

These people do it right ,, every single time it’s right like it should be..I been going there off and on for years.. they bout the only ones left in the country that knows how to fry okra and green tomatoes .. if you think okra is suppose to be covered in a nasty thick batter your sadly mistaken , okra is suppose to to be crunchy not mushy these people are right on with the okra, and everything else they prepare , the taboli is the best , ribs, links, sausage, brisket, catfish it’s all amazingly good.. it’s refreshing to know someone ain’t forgot the right damm way to cook okra for that I truly thank you ..it takes me back 50 years to mommas kitchen every time I come there thank you , thank you ..

Famous catfish BBQ restaurant in West Tulsa since 1984 (that's 40 years), not fancy but you'll enjoy the down home cooking. Also, meats by the pound, and take out. Closes at 8pm.

Average Ordered half rack of baby back ribs and potato salad as side. The ribs were just ok but the quantity was good(6). Had mentioned “extra spicy” in the instruction but unfortunately it was not spicy at all. The bbq sauce was bit hot though. Potato salad was also just ok.
