Lakeside Bar & Grill - Tullah

Absolutely spectacular food, both In size and taste. Got the oolala parmi and it may be the best parmi I've ever had. My partner got the barramundi which was mouth-wateringly succulent and flavourful.

Great view, pleasant environment. Well priced food, good value for money. Okay coffee. Friendly staff.

Public can access the Tullah Lodge cafe: the cafe provides a pleasant view out over the lake. The coffee was good, there were gluten free cake options available. A good place to stop for morning coffee if passing through.

Fantastic coffee. Great large size meals and value for money. Good selection of meals to choose from. Breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner.

Staying at the Lodge and decided to have lunch before we checked in. I had the Fisherman's basket consisting of beer battered flathead, panko crumbed prawns, squid rings, battered scallops and marinated crumbed octopus served with tartare sauce, chips and salad. My wife liked the deconstructed steak sandwich of scotch fillet, caramelised onion, cheddar cheese, cheese, lettuce and relish, topped with onion rings and served with chips. Service friendly and efficient and we soon had two platters before us. Truly the most generous serves of any meal that we enjoyed in Tasmania but too much for both. Coffee was tasty. We returned later tp enjoy some wine. I somehow managed scrambled eggs and bacon on sourdough toast the following morning, with a coffee. My wife limited herself to sourdough toast. Quantity, lovely food and great value.
