A very familiar restaurant, very cozy and with a large typical Canarian food. I liked it so much that I was there twice. the papas arrugadas are much better the versions they can find at others and I recommend the goat stew....I'm too curious to try the potato soup, but it was pretty late and it was ready. the prices are large, starter main dish and beer for less than 20 euro. worth visiting.
I am am amazed that this little jewel is no longer visited. it is only on a road when it is located between la oliva and the corralejo beach road in a village where it is the only bar/restaurant, but what is a sound. marco and his wife elena are fantastic hosts. they don't speak English, they're coming by. the good is fantastic and also the usual Spanish cuisine, which it also serves very traditional Canarian food, also a series of foods locally to fuerteventura as well as many dishes made with goat meat and if they did not try it, they must. especially puchero (if it is Sunday) that is the Fuerteventura equivalent of a British Sunday dinner only one pot, thick with meat and veg. only to stop to delete her thirst, she gets a free choice of local goat cheese, or brot with alioli. the prices are amazingly favorable, so I guess it's a stop-off point for many off-road tours. what more can I say you really need to experience this beautiful little gem, a little from the beaten away to believe it.
While we came on a small road trip, we came over restaurante la caldereta and we were not escaped. this is a beautiful family-run restaurant and we were greeted by the friendly owner, where he sat and sorted our drinks and something brot immediately. in the corner there was the cook cooking a large tablet of paella, which was from this world. the food here was genuine traditional Canarian cuisine and it was so delicious. between us we had chickpeas as starter/tapas and for our net we had 2 paellas a canarian stew. the paella was incredible! mixed with large pieces meat fish. the Canarian stew was filled with large pieces vegatables meat. overall it was an amazing restaurant and really good for a traditional Canarian meal. the price was reasonable and worth the money.
Pedimos queso frito, papas arrugas y cabrito estofado, recomendado por el camarero. No dejaban de llegar furgonetas cargadas con turistas extranjeros, a los que parece que está enfocado el negocio.
