Whataburger - Tucson

The Whataburger on 6th Avenue is undeniably the best location in Tucson. The food and drinks are consistently excellent, the restaurant is always clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. There's a young woman who works there, and I believe her name is Darla. She is so sweet and welcoming, always ready to help, and you can always count on her to have a smile on her face.

The food at Whataburger is quite good. My husband had his first job there, and I suppose our memories make the burgers and shakes seem even larger than they actually are. After all, it's been over 50 years! I highly recommend stopping by for a burger, fries, and a shake—you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to encourage the young employees; my husband really enjoyed his time there. Enjoy your visit!

This is definitely not one of the better Whataburgers in Tucson! The bacon cheeseburger was dry, and I ordered their new Banana Pudding Shake but ended up paying for everything. Then, of course, I found out the shake machine was broken. What? Why did you let me pay for it if the machine is out of order?? They didn’t offer to refund the difference; I just received an apple pie instead. Never again. I’ll choose Sonic next time.

The food here is delicious and fresh. My only complaint is the long wait times in the drive-thru during the evenings.
