Contribuiți la feedbackI discovered this little restaurant after passing by a few times on my way to other places, and I'm so glad I decided to stop in for lunch. I'm a huge fan of Thai cuisine, and after trying the red curry, I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. The bold flavors were fantastic—creamy, spicy, and sweet all at once. The yellow curry met my expectations and was still excellent compared to others I’ve had. Although it can be a bit pricey, I highly recommend trying the BBQ pork bun (open-faced); it's a delightful appetizer! The staff is very friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. This will definitely become one of my go-to spots every now and then. Give it a try!
Now, let's talk about the service. The restaurant has only seven tables, and I happened to be the third customer. One table was already eating, while another appeared to have just ordered. After I was seated and given a menu, the gentleman who seemed to be the owner left to answer a phone call. Then, another table arrived that he needed to seat. A takeout order also came in, and things just spiraled from there. With his seven tables, the takeout order, and two tables to manage, he was overwhelmed. After quite a bit of chaos, he finally took our order—20 minutes had already gone by. More customers came in, but there was no space, and one person who wanted to sit outside left in frustration after being ignored for a while. It took an hour and ten minutes to get our food, and my appetizer arrived about ten minutes before my entrée. The whole visit took an hour and 35 minutes on a Sunday around noon. Honestly, I suggest they get some help. It’s hard to run a restaurant solo. The seven tables in that small space can't be properly managed at this pace. They need to find a way to turnover those tables more efficiently to increase their revenue. If each table is going to take an hour and a half, they won't be able to reach their potential. To top it all off, the prices are not aligned with the quality of the food. The portions are small, which is fine, but they should match the pricing. Mediocre food shouldn't come at prices like these.
I'm so happy they’ve reopened! Although their previous location was more convenient, we’re more than willing to make the drive. This is one of our two favorite Thai restaurants in Tucson (the other one unfortunately closed for good). Their food has consistently been excellent and full of flavor, and they are very accommodating with food allergies. I can’t wait to dine there again!
Really delicious and great service. Loved that the owner came up to us and asked how everything was doing.
Noticed this little place after driving by a few times while going to other destinations. Glad I decided to stop by for lunch. I personally love Thai food and after trying the curry I definitely recommend this place. The bold flavors were awesome in the red curry creamy, spicy, and sweet. The yellow curry is about what I expected but still very good in comparison to others I've had before. While it might be pricy try out the bbq pork bun (open faced) its a nice appetizer! As for the staff, very friendly people and are attentive; couldn't complain. Definitely a new spot to go to every once in a while for my own rotation. Give it a try!
