Bumsted's - Tucson

Cute little place. Foodies would love it. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We had an extra large group but we were served quickly. The food was hot and the portion sizes were large. We ordered one of the bat out of hell meatloaf sandwich (an homage to the rock star meatloaf) and it was good. It could 've used a bit of seasoning in the meat mixture but all in all a good dining experience.

Drove down from Chandler for the day. Happened upon this place. Fantastic food, awesome atmosphere, and the bartender server Chase was extremely friendly and helpful. Would absolutely come back recommend.

Great service, food and ambience. Very lively. This place was so much fun. We were in town for a conference and would always end our nights at Bumstaead's.

Diner feel with large portions. Definitely recommend going for a visit to try their meatloaf sandwiches. They come in a variety, so it's fun to come back as well. They do have some heart healthy and vegetarian options, but those seemed more average quality, opposed to their specialties.Been for lunch and early dinner and both times there was plenty of room and server was quick.Pull into the street after it for parking in back (opposed to the hotel entrance next to it). Walk around to the front, or you can walk through the nightclub, if it's open. It's separate from the nightclub, I'd say it's family friendly, and they do have a children's menu.Minor nit: sandwiches are tall, maybe 4-7 inches tall. But take out boxes are only about 3-4 inches tall. I hope you can see where I'm going with this. You'll need to do some surgery to get the other half of your meal home.Vegetarian options: Burgers can be substituted with bean burger or mushroom. Some pure vegetarian sandwiches or salads.Parking: Parking behind. Area is a little sketchy.Kid-friendliness: Has a diner feel kids would like. Plays entertaining wow/fail video on TV's, which could be distracting or cringing to some. Night club shares bathrooms which might be an issue. NO Baby change table (no room for it, they're small).

Had the Bat Out Of Hell Meatloaf Sandwich w/ Tots. I gotta say this creation was sent down from the Sandwich Gods to fulfill every taste bud's yearning for a First Class ticket to Comfort City! From the juicy flavorful Loaf, the Sauce (Damn, that SAUCE! , the Bacon and the Jalapeños with the perfect heat. Amazing!!! To wrap up my review, I gotta compliment the A+ service. I'll definitely be back.
