Contribuiți la feedbackMy best friend and I used to come here when the wine bar was called Parallel 45. We loved it then and I love it even a little bit more now. While both owners are personable and take the time to get to know their guests, I prefer this new menu. For my belated birthday, my best friend and I met up for dinner and wine at the Lakeside Bistro. My amazing time was partially due to the fact that the owner's husband promised me that the Andouille Mac and Cheese would be the spiciest, cheesiest mac I ever had (and it was) and because he was such a great host. He gave us tastings of their Pinot Noir and their Tempranillo because I was unsure which red to order. I settled on the Tempranillo and was glad I did because it was full and rich, just like I like it. My friend got the crab dip, which looked amazing (and must have tasted as good as it looked because she gobbled it down and didn't offer me a bite). The location is superb as well. They have a parking lot in front and the back faces the man made lake and promenade. In the summer, they have outdoor seating so you can take in all the beauty up close and personal. Get a sitter, because this is that perfect place for an intimate dinner or classy night out!
I was surprised to read some of the other reviews left for Lakeside Bistro as my experience was entirely different. We stopped by at around 5:30PM, with the original intention of eating at Hayden's Lakefront Grill but decided not to based on their lower rating on Yelp. This is a family owned establishment, I can only assume a husband and wife duo. They are adorable. They stopped by our table many times to discuss menu items and to make an overall attempt at getting to know us. Which was different and pretty cool. I ordered the pulled pork sliders which is actually out of the norm for me. But I'm glad I did because they were incredible. So much flavor! My brother ordered the Dungeness Crab Dip and a quesadilla. My sister ordered the antipasto plate and mac n chesse. All of which were very good and we had no complaints. We happened to be here on the night of the tree lighting so we got to enjoy all of the lights on and around the lake and that was really cool. While our experience seems to be different from those of other Yelpers, I want to point out most of those reviews are a couple of years old. Maybe this husband and wife duo just needed some time to work out the kinks? It appears they have improved, at least as far as our visit is concerned.
Nice atmosphere and delicious small dishes especially CHIKEN WINGS. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.
I went here for happy hour and wine after work with a friend. I had the Grenache Syrah, which was good for a happy hour wine I have to say! $5! We shared the mac n cheese and the fish tacos as well. I loved the fish tacos!!!They were a perfect small size and seasoned just right. I wasn't so hot on the mac n cheese, but that's ok. It was nice to sit outside next to the water too. Got to hang with the ducks. : Betsy was really friendly there as well. My friend and I will definitely be going back! Selena
This have changed into Asian Fusion food. The service is absolutely amazing; they have a good wine choice. The food is great, their chicken wings and curry is very tasty. The Japanese Toast is huge and delicious, I think it is more than enough for 2 people. I would def recommend and come back here
